When Life Hands You Lemons Make Lemonade

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

When fate hands you a lemon, make lemonade.
-Dale Carnegie

I love this quote. I usually say: When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Why do I love this quote, I make the best lemonade. Do you ever feel like it is always one thing after the other ? You know one step forward and two steps back. I feel life keeps hurling lemons at me and it is up to me to make the best out of it. Continue Reading »

Don’t Dwell on Your Dreams Do Something…

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live. – J. K. Rowling

Dwell on your dreams, live, and do something about it. It pays nothing to keep dreaming, and I don’t mean money. You have to act on your dreams for them to become your reality. I also know this goes without saying cause you already know you have to do something before you can start to living the life of your dreams. By the way if you did not know this now you know. Perhaps this is a better quote: Continue Reading »

Create Your Own Horoscope and Control The Outcome of Your Life

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

We all want to know what the future holds for us which is why divination especially horoscopes play a big part in our lives. Most people check their horoscopes daily, I used to be a fan of the annual horoscopes and the monthly summaries. I have to say I still make it a point to know whenever ”Mercury is in retrograde.” I will not tell you why, because I still wish the person that told me about it had not, my life was much simpler before this information was freely given.

I have often wondered about horoscopes, Continue Reading »

Effective affirmations can change your life…

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

Affirmations are one of most powerful self-help tools using them often can open up a world of opportunity to you and help you take control of many aspects of your life.

What is an affirmation? An Affirmation is a form of mental programming that is based on the repetition of a strong positive statement that evokes a positive emotional reaction in an individual. This statement is a command to your subconscious mind in order to manifest specific results in your life.

When you think of affirmations remember: Your thoughts create your life.” This is a Universal Law. You just have to keep in mind that if your thoughts create your life, then who controls of your thoughts? You. Therefore, you control your life. Continue Reading »

You Have the Power to Change your Life Today

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

I marvel at the progress I have made in my life since I tapped into the power of my subconscious and started using it consciously. I love, love, love when I think of something and it manifests itself right before my eyes. I never forget to thank God, cause even using my subconscious I still believe the gift is coming from a Higher Power. The Higher power is in me and round me but that is another blog.

I learned about the power of my subconscious pretty much from every self-help book I read, the books that helped me the most were: Continue Reading »

Keys to Personal Freedom

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

We all want to free to do the things we want to do, to do the things we love to do, to live the life of our dreams and to become the people we always knew we could be. Basically, we all want to Be Free to Be.

I call it Personal Freedom because in order to change the world you have to start with yourself. If you want to make big changes in the life of others, you have to start with your own life. Freedom happens one person at a time.

Why is Personal Freedom a Quest? Continue Reading »

Forgive and Forget?

Forgiveness is the most powerful tool I have come across in all my years in the self-help industry. Forgiveness is the key to freeing yourself from events in your past that are holding you back.

Holding on to a past hurt is the most debilitating thing you can do. Your mind constantly replays those painful events, strengthen by your emotional response of anger, hate or sadness, you end up creating a vicious cycle in your mind. The worst thing about this is that, Continue Reading »

Protect Yourself from the Verbal Assault / Mental Abuse of Well-Meaning People

Published by Tabs under Blogroll, Life, Relationships, Uncategorized

“I always say exactly what is on my mind.” “I am just being honest.” “That’s just my opinion.” “I think that’s the best thing for you.” “Do you want me to lie to you?”

Don’t fall for this… many dreams have been crushed by the “well-meaning” words of people who: Continue Reading »

Have Faith and Success Will Follow

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

I have often wondered about blind faith versus just having faith when it comes to living a successful life or getting what you want from life. When I started my self-help journey, I was all about what I could do for myself I had to have faith in my abilities. Then through natural progression my journey took a more spiritual path and I had to have faith in myself and in something bigger than me. Looking around me I see people on the same journey that simply have blind faith. They believe that through some cosmic twist of faith (pardon the pun) things they want will drop out of nowhere without any effort on their part. Are they on to something or are they just not putting in an effort? Continue Reading »

Plan Your Life Before it is Too Late.

Published by Tabs under Personal Growth, Uncategorized

People don’t really get the importance of planning their lives before it is too late. I didn’t and it cost me a lot of time and energy. Perhaps it was a journey I had to take to get me where I am today, but I know I could have made the journey a lot easier if I had even a general outline of what I wanted from life.
