You Have the Power to Change your Life Today
Posted on October 30, 2006
I marvel at the progress I have made in my life since I tapped into the power of my subconscious and started using it consciously. I love, love, love when I think of something and it manifests itself right before my eyes. I never forget to thank God, cause even using my subconscious I still believe the gift is coming from a Higher Power. The Higher power is in me and round me but that is another blog.
I learned about the power of my subconscious pretty much from every self-help book I read, the books that helped me the most were:
There are lots more but these ones really focus on the issue and are a great place to start.
The most powerful tool I use to access the power of my subconscious are affirmations. Affirmations help you control your thoughts by keeping your mind on exactly what it is you want and knowing that infinite possibilities lie ahead of you. I use affirmations to focus on my goals. I use affirmations in the morning to plan my day. I use affirmation to substitute negative thoughts when they occur and anyone that has to interact with anything or anyone in the course of the day has negative thoughts. The idea is to release negative thoughts the moment you catch yourself in the act of thinking negative thoughts.
Writing down your goals on paper is another very power tool, this one works and the only effort on your part is actually writing down the things you want (anything). You write down what you want put it away and come back in a couple of weeks or months and you will be surprised at the things you accomplished even without realizing it.
Visualization is another great one, I call it bedtime stories. Every night before going to bed I picture my ideal life in exact detail, hey! You can’t get it if you don’t see it.
The changes in your life come gradually, you spend sometime in disbelieve, you think “Did I do that?” then you realize you did and 80% of the time you are spot on, you KNOW when something happened because you used the power of your subconscious mind. I say 80% because I still want to believe, but I don’t want ego to come into the equation. If it doesn’t happen, then it just was not meant to be.
You will eventually grow more confident with your abilities and start to step out of your comfort zone, you let go of things that are holding you back, you start to do more for yourself, your life starts to move in a positive direction. You have to give yourself time to grow this power, it is just the way it is, it will not happen overnight.
We have so much potential that I don’t believe they don’t teach us about this the moment we start to speak. The power of our words are so tremendous I can’t help but catch myself when things happen to me (good or bad) I know that I have thought it or blurted it out at some point in my life. Heed my words, watch yours.
There is nothing new about the power of your subconscious mind, this knowledge has been around for a few thousand years, it has been taught to a select few, but now it is available to anyone who cares enough to ask questions.
I beg of you, start looking, ask questions, the answers are out there and the solution are much closer than you think.
PS
Always use this power for good, use it to create positive change in your life and in the world. Remember the Law of Karma – You reap what you sow, what goes around comes around, pretty much anything you do, good or bad, comes right back to you.
Good Luck!
