If I could go back in a time machine I would give my 9 year old self this list. It is a list created from a journey through what I deem three or four life times, important information I could have used a long time ago. I also want to share the knowledge I have acquired and the life lessons I have learned with you.
1. Have a plan for your entire life – not just the first 25 years. 2. Follow and live the life you planned – make changes as you see fit, stay on course and know when to get out. 3. Make lots of friends and hold them all to high standards. 4. Hold yourself to high standards. By God Jolly: YOU ARE SOMEBODY.
The man who does things makes mistakes, but he never makes the biggest mistake of all – doing nothing.
Benjamin Franklin
No one should ever look back on their lives and wish they had done something more, you can always look back and wish you did things differently but to do something more, leave a mark, make a difference. Don’t be a spectator in your life the only person that will regret doing nothing is you.
What is my “A Point of View” about?
It is a round table of sorts, a dinner conversation. I imagine myself sitting at a table talking to my favorite personal development, self-help, metaphysics authors and teachers discussing Universal Laws and other self-help tools.
In my study of the Universal Laws, I found several definitions for the different laws and I have written down the definitions that resonated with me the most. In the Universal Laws series, I have ten of my favorite Universal Laws defined or described by my favorite authors. Then I add my take on the Universal Laws: Let’s just say I add my point of view on the Universal Law.
The conversations consist of each author’s definition from books they have written so these are the words of the people named in this piece.
I have written a few blogs about the Law of Attraction and like everything else I am learning something new everyday, I came across a new blog by Steve Pavlina, one of my favorite personal development blogs, titled The #1 Mistake People Make When Using the Law of Attraction, I know you will gain great value from his article, I always do.
I believe books present themselves into your life when you are ready to acknowledge them. – Abi Egbeyemi
My personal development journey started many years ago and along the way I have become a student of several self-help scholars, gurus and guruettes. I thought it might be an added bonus is I shared some of them with you. So I am starting a series of blogs, I don’t know exactly how many because I am learning everyday and might just find more people that fit the bill. I will however start with the ones dearest to me. The ones I don’t go a week without reading.

Man should always demand only that which is his by divine right. – Florence Scovel Shinn
We all want. We all need. So thinking we will never ask God, the Universe… for what we want does not even come into question. What comes to question is, the way we ask for what we want. I write a lot about how to get what you want from life and living the life of your dreams because that is my life’s quest. So I feel a responsibility to tell you how to ask for what you want because you always get it, even if you have to pay dearly for it.

“You attract to your life that which constantly think of.” The people in your life and situations you find yourself in today exist only because of thoughts and emotions you have had in the past. Your dominant thoughts are manifested in your life and the only person that has control of those thoughts is you.
How does the Law of Attraction work?
When you think of something, either something you want or something you really do not want constantly, then energize that thought with emotions like, fear, doubt, joy, love, the universe finds a vibrational match and creates that situation in your life (manifestation). I hope you were not hoping for a complicated answer because this is it in a nutshell.

Good news is that there is a one-way ticket out of Suckville, it requires that you find something positive, that evokes beautiful emotions in you and stay in that mode until you start to vibrate on the level of what you want. Continue Reading »
