The Law of Attraction

You attract to your life that which constantly think of.” The people in your life and situations you find yourself in today exist only because of thoughts and emotions you have had in the past. Your dominant thoughts are manifested in your life and the only person that has control of those thoughts is you.

How does the Law of Attraction work?
When you think of something, either something you want or something you really do not want constantly, then energize that thought with emotions like, fear, doubt, joy, love, the universe finds a vibrational match and creates that situation in your life (manifestation). I hope you were not hoping for a complicated answer because this is it in a nutshell.

Law of Attraction: Thought+Emotion=Manifestation

What are you attracting to your life? Do you constantly worry about your weight? Do you spend all your time thinking about your bills? Do you hate your job and cannot stop thinking about how much you hate everything about your job? Do you feel trapped? Is this is what you spend most of your time thinking about? What is going on in your life? Or do you spend your time thinking about how good you felt after your workout? That you know you will have more than enough money left over after your bills are paid. Or that you feel great and look good. What is going on in your life right now?

What do you think about all the time?
Unlike the magnet where opposites attract, with the law of attraction, you attract what you think of most of the time. The law of attraction takes your thoughts, positive or negative, energized by your emotions, positive or negative, and sends out vibrations to attract people and situations that match the vibrations you are sending out.

One thing I hear all the time is, “But I want more for myself.” Sure, you do but what do you spend your time thinking about?

Most of us think about our problems 90% of the time. You are stressed out because your workload seems to be never ending. So you constantly think about how much you hate your job. You don’t have time to exercise after work because you are so mentally drained after work all you can do is watch TV and stress out about the fact that you are gaining weight by not working out. And what is worst, you have to go to work tomorrow. Am I close? There is always something on our minds and yes, a lot of the time it is not positive.

The law of attraction works hand in hand with the law of abundance. While the law of abundance asks you to have faith in the universal abundance to cover all your need, the law of attraction is much more specific. The law of attraction requires you to pay attention not only to what and how you think, but also the emotions that energize those thoughts. For example, we say things like, “I do not want to be in debt.” “I do not want to be sick.” “I do not want to gain weight.” “I do not want to be alone.” You repeat these words constantly evoking emotions you are sometimes not even aware of then when these things manifest in your life you get upset that your desires for a better life are not being met. This is a sorry fact a lot of us are guilty of.

Like every universal law you have to do something (law of cause and effect), so here are some tips on how to implement the law of attraction. You can also read a great book by Ester and Jerry Hicks, Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires there some great exercises in the second part of the book to help you use the law of attraction to change your mood and your life.

How to Use the Law of Attraction

Remember knowing what you want does not mean saying in your head over and over “I want a BMW.” That is a start, but watch out, you will get that BMW, but did you want a brand new one? Did you want to buy it, win it or did you want to inherit it? You get the picture. The point of planning is to get a detailed picture of what you want in your mind, you can play it over and over so you can create it without bringing harm to anyone.

Have fun and create your ideal life today.

[...] If you are still struggling with getting things to work the way you want them to in your life try focusing on gratitude. When you start to think of what is lacking in your life give thanks for what you have no matter how great or how small. Give thanks for waking up this morning, give thanks for your health, your vision, for the sky, the trees, your life, just focus on the good in your life and it will multiply. [...]

    Two things…

    1. If I had to sum the entire thing up, it’s that the Law of Attraction
is all about alignment. You’ve got to do the “work” if you want to
    bring something info your life.

This is where I think people mess up, which gives the entire thing the
“MLM/Amway” kind of vibe. You can’t just sit around eating junk food
and watching reruns and expect to live on the beach…regardless of what
    the infomercials say.

People like Joe Vitale are out working. Bob Proctor is out working.
    James Ray is out working.

    2. I found a FREE book (yes, FREE) that helped me figure out all of
this. http://www.receivethebook.com/ has it and it’s well worth the read.

And like I said, it’s FREE. So you can’t argue that the guy is trying
to take advantage of people looking for a “magic pill” or whatever else
I’ve been hearing over the last 2-3 weeks since this thing hit Oprah.

    Great info.

I watched the Secret DVD a few months ago and got another book on Law of Attraction,
but it didn’t really start happening for me until I wrote down my intentions. I found that to be
    VERY powerful.

Guide for Living: Law of Attraction Workbook - A 6-Step Plan to Attract Money, Love, and Happiness is a book I just got, which makes
planning out your Law of Attraction goals easy. Just fill in the blanks and you’ve got a road
map to follow. Has been working well so far.

I watched the DVD and listen to the CD daily. This stuff is amazing and has worked perfectly for me. My question: In terms of loving relationships, are we to focus, think and visualize on the “type” of person we want in our lives or focus, think and visualize someone in particular? This wasn’t clear to me.
I have someone in mind and things have progressed steadily the more I focus on them and what I want, think and visualize however, I am still unsure of their wants, thoughts and intentions and even though I don’t focus on what they may or may not want, I’m unsure of how this particluar situation works!

Thank you for visiting my blog, I get this question a lot, in my opinion, when it comes to relationships Law of Attraction works best if you focus on type of person you want in your life. What are you looking for in a relationship? How will that person treat you? How would you feel when with that person? That is what works best with law of attraction.

If you focus on one person, that person may not have what you are looking for, you just assume they do. Also it is not fair on that person what if he or she wants something completely different.

I am a big advocate on not focusing on one person. Make a list of what you want in a relationship and from a relationship and the Law of Attraction will bring that into your life.

    Good luck,
    Tabs

Well like with Everything that’s coming into your life you are attracting into your life. And it’s attracted by virtue of the images you’re holding in your mind. It’s what you’re thinking. Whatever is going on in your mind you are attracting to you.

Few deep things on this matter:)

    Warmly

Thanks for this informative blog about personal development. I wanted to share information about my new movie called The Compass. http://www.thecompass.tv

    The Compass

Life is meant to be lived in abundance. We all want to experience life at the highest levels. Over the years, we have been taught the importance of vision and clear thought. However, those who have truly attained success in all aspects of life know there is more that needs to be done to reach the top, and live a life of fulfillment and gratitude. Without knowing the optimal path, life tends to meander like a stream. A stream will take you down the mountain, but it will never carry you to the top.

Never before in history has there been a film that has told the story of the journey through life coupled with the world’s leading authorities on personal success. As an added bonus, the viewer will be treated to four dynamic individuals who will inspire, motivate and make you think at a deep level when you learn of their incredible life stories.

    The Compass will move you!
