If I could go back in a time machine I would give my 9 year old self this list. It is a list created from a journey through what I deem three or four life times, important information I could have used a long time ago. I also want to share the knowledge I have acquired and the life lessons I have learned with you.
1. Have a plan for your entire life – not just the first 25 years.
2. Follow and live the life you planned – make changes as you see fit, stay on course and know when to get out.
3. Make lots of friends and hold them all to high standards.
4. Hold yourself to high standards. By God Jolly: YOU ARE SOMEBODY.
5. Get an education – be very good at something.
6. Be grateful for what you have now.
7. Believe in a power bigger than yourself – someone has to hold you accountable for your actions or lack there of.
8. Protect your mind it is the greatest tool you will ever own: Don’t let anyone tell you, you are not good enough. They do this simply because they are not good enough. Watch 50% less TV.
9. Be an individual – be your own person. Let us destroy the concept of “Herd Mentality.”
10. Help others in some way shape or form. Make a difference in lives many people.
Hindsight is 20/20 vision what message would you leave yourself if you could go back to a pivotal moment in your life?

6. Be grateful for what you have now.
Lots of people are not contented of what they have. It’s probably the main reason why they don’t succeed in life. They tend to find new ways of enhancing their life without noticing the time they’ve spent on such unimportant things.
Thanks for your comment Pamela, I have found being grateful is so powerful that if you develop an attitude of gratitude you have little time to focus on negative thoughts. I think this is such a great deal that I am calling March, My Gratitude Month. I want to learn so much more about the correlation between being grateful for what you have and getting what you want.
Thanks again and take care
