The Universal Laws give you control over the direction your life is going. They make you take responsibility for your actions, taking away the constant need to find blame outside yourself for the anything that is happening in your life.
I have found the answers to everything that has happened in my life good or bad has been a result or either the application or violation of one or more of the universal laws. I then realized that learning to use the universal laws in your everyday life is like having a set of instructions to guide you through life and keep you on the right path. Here is an example of the application and violation of the universal laws.
Problem:“It is like she hates me but I don’t feel that way about her.”
Law(s) Violated: Law of Cause and Effect and Law of Correspondence.
Solution – Law(s) Applied: Continue Reading »

Day in and day out we allow random thoughts to flow through our minds over 60,000 thoughts a day. We think we have no control over what we see or hear, and we make no attempts to control these thoughts. It is normal for us to have random thoughts flowing though our heads, but not making an attempt to control those thoughts is one of the great misconceptions of our collective consciousness, what I tend to call one of the Universal Lies we have been told all our lives.
Changing your ideal life is dependent on your ability to control your thinking. You have to learn to focus your thoughts and follow through on action plans to harness the power of the most powerful instrument in your possession, your mind.
How do you do that? Continue Reading »

It has been a long journey but I believe I have finally gotten all the lessons I need on forgiveness. The realization came to me today while reading a paragraph in the book Chakra Balancing
by Anodea Judith, the paragraph summarizes everything I have spent a long, long trying to understand and say about how to forgive, why you forgive, when to forgive and how to move on with your life.
If you are reading this blog because you have someone you know you need to forgive this paragraph gives you all you need to know in a nut shell. If you need more I have included links to the copious information I have gathered on forgiveness in this blog.
Here is an excerpt on forgiveness from Chakra Balancing Kit: A Guide to Healing and Awakening Your Energy Body:

This is part of a series of blogs on Universal Laws that I am writing with the same overall theme, a round table or a dinner conversation in my case with a few of my favorite authors.
The Universal Law of Subconscious Activity as defined by my favorite authors and me, please enjoy.
Charles F. Haanel The Master Key System
The subconscious mind is a part of the Universal mind. The Universal is the creative principle of the Universe, a part must be the same in kind and quality as the whole. This means that this creative power is absolutely Continue Reading »

This law deals directly with your ability to control your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind cannot make a distinction between what is true or what is false, it simple does what it is told to do by the conscious mind. This is where the law of substitution comes to play, the law states that you can substitute any negative thought for a positive one in order to create a positive outcome for yourself.
Since the subconscious mind that creates our lives can not tell the difference between what is true and what is false you can change your reality by changing your thoughts. The law of substitution can be used to change your mood, I know that most people are subject to mood swings and most are aware of the mood change when it is happening, you can use the law of substitution to turn that mood around. I have found that when I feel my mood changing to one I find less desirable I am able to make the change just by repeating to the following words to myself: I am happy, I am happy, I am happy. After multiple use of this affirmation, I have found that I am able to change my mood almost instantly. Continue Reading »

We are not taught that we have the power to create the best lives for ourselves, a large percentage of people do not even know they have this power. It is present in every human being, some have the good luck of tapping into this power without knowing they are using it, you see this in confident successful people, even children. However, for most people the Mind Power is unchecked, uncontrolled and allowed to drag you wherever your random thoughts will take you.
“It is said that a person has over 60,000 thoughts every day. That’s over forty thoughts a minute! Yet, of the 60,000 thoughts you have today, ninety percent of these are the same as the 60,000 you had yesterday and the day before, leaving little room for new thoughts. No wonder life can seem tedious at times.” - Roger Ellerton
The Uncontrolled Mind
A misguided life is the result of the uncontrolled mind. The following are the parties involved in creating the life you live today:
You
• You have a lifetimes worth of experiences, thoughts and emotions you have let flow though your mind uncontrolled. Continue Reading »

I heard or read once in my Feng Shui Study a saying that goes, “The moment you hire a Feng Shui Consult, is the moment you start looking for a new home.” You will find when reading most of the Feng Shui literature they talk about inauspicious placement of rooms, doors, hallways and staircases, roads, ponds and hills. I used to read and think, “So, what am I going to do about it, I can’t move the door, change the direction of my home is facing and I don’t plan on moving any time soon. So what can I do now?”
Feng Shui is one of my favorite self-help tools: it clears your mind and creates sanity in your home and it is good for your health. So, all the Feng Shui tips I provide on this blog will definitely be remedies you can create with your bare hands, a visit to the neighborhood hardware store, grocery store, department store or Walgreen and in some cases the town herbalist (you might need smudging sticks).
What is Chi?
In Chinese medicine and philosophy, the energy or life force of the universe, believed to flow round the body, your environment and it is present in all living things. Continue Reading »
