The forgiving state of mind is a magnetic power for attracting good.
Catherine Ponder

The law of forgiveness is the most powerful and important universal law, it states that: in order to make your life better you must begin by forgiving everyone, everything, every experience and every memory in your life that needs forgiveness.

Why? There are two reasons why you must forgive: first if you want to be forgiven you have to forgive and second, if you harbor any ill will, anger, regret or hate towards anybody you are preventing anything good and lasting from entering your life. Negativity of any kind clouds your mind, preventing it from creating the good that you deserve in you life and does serious damage to your health.

Without forgiveness, you carry around with you the seed that can create all kinds of illness in your body. The emotions tied to not forgiving include, anger, hate, guilt, doubt, worry and self-pity, these emotions do nothing for you but make you feel stressed out and eventually lead to sicknesses of different degrees.

A person hurts you so bad, you can not go through an hour in the day without thinking about that person and what they did to you. You think about it over and over and the negative emotions mount until you feel you are about to burst. How is that helping you? When you constantly think about this person or the situation, you give the whole situation more energy, you increase intensity on negativity and that is never good. To make matters worst, you will create in your life the things you continually think of. Do you want to repeat the same thing over? No!

Who do you forgive? You forgive everyone, everything and every situation you can think of that needs forgiveness. Then you forgive yourself.

What do you forgive? You forgive everything. Your wounds might be fresh and you are still very sensitive about the situation or there might be things that were so obscure the thought only occasionally pops in your head. Once you start to forgive you have to forgive everything, the process will take on a life of its own once you begin.

The Law of forgiveness has an added bonus. This is the only universal law that can neutralize the law of cause and effect (Karma). Sometimes we do not know what kind of karma debt is looming over us, so how do you know when to use the law of forgiveness to neutralize karma? You keep forgiving people and keep your conscience clear, and use an affirmation when you feel there might be a need to neutralize your karma debt or if you feel you might be a victim of third party karma.

When you forgive people that have wronged you in anyway you take away the power they have over you. They no longer control your life, your mind is free to create, you experience happiness and peace of mind.

How do you forgive?
1) First you make an agreement with yourself that you will forgive everyone, this is not a piece meal package where you chose to forgive this person and not forgive that person. You have to forgive everyone and everything you can think of or you will not get the full benefit of this law.

2) Make a list of everyone, everything, every situation, every memory you can think of, this is your master list. Getting through this list is getting you closer to achieving your goals.

3) Then you get yourself an affirmation, one that truly resonates with you, “I fully and completely forgive (name) for everything and (name) fully and completely forgives me. I release you and let you go, you are free and so am I.” This one worked wonders in my life.

4) Set aside a few minutes in the morning and at night just before you go to bed get relaxed, look at your list or pick whatever situation pops in to your head and start repeating the affirmation. Every time you go through a forgiving session you feel lighter you are letting go, you are moving on, you are happy.

During the course of the day if you think about a situation that you feel you need to forgive repeat your affirmation, continue to affirm and one day you wake up and all is forgiven: You are Free.

Good Luck,
