Take a Personal Inventory of Your Life – The Science of Getting Rich Workbook - Chapter Two- Part Two See introduction to the Science of Getting Rich Series

Real Joy
Personal Inventory is the main component needed to build a Solid Foundation for your life. It is a starting point on the road map of your life. You need to know who you are first before you can make lasting change. You need to know where you are going and how to get there. Personal Inventory is an introspective look on your life from all possible angles. The first few chapters of Science of Getting Rich are about getting to know who you are and how you perceive wealth. Here is the getting to know yourself part. Taking a personal Inventory of your life is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Do it today.

Man, know thyself, and thou shall know the mysteries of the gods and the Universe.
- The Oracle at Delphi

I have included some questions I came up with when working on my workbook. They should give you a general idea of what kinds of questions you ask yourself when taking a personal inventory.

Who Are You?
□ What is your current situation (take a personal account of your life today)?
□ Where do you live?
□ What do you do for a living?
□ List your family, friends and acquaintances and describe the type of relationship you have with them.
□ List the positive things in your life.
□ What do you love to do? (What are your strengths?)
□ What are your weaknesses? (What do you hate doing?)

Where are you going?
□ What is the one thing you could spend the rest of your life doing.
□ Write down the title of the career or business. For example, A New York Times Best Selling Author. A Successful Restaurateur. An Extremely Successful Blogger.
□ How would you live? Where would you live? What would your life look like?
□ Create a “Success Story Profile” this is the story of person in your chosen field that is successful. One of the most important principles of Science of Getting Rich states that if one person in your field has become success (rich) then so can you.
□ Get all the information you can on what that person did to become successful.

How to get there.
□ What is your Goal? To become a…
□ You need your “Success Story” and research to complete this task.
□ Break down the list to action steps, what was the first thing this person did, what was the next and so on.
□ By the end of this process, you will have an outline of what steps you have to take to get to your ideal life.

It is important at this stage of the Science of Getting Rich Series for you to have a general idea of where you are going. It is important to know who you are and where you want to go. How you will get there is the answer the Science of Getting Rich gives you.

When we figure out the path to point B we can lay out a plan to make it happen. This takes time and flexibility. Everyone goes toward point B, but usually ends up at point O. Point O is usually better because we realize that we just needed to get started in the right direction before we put it all together.

You are spot on with ending up at “Point O”, the clarity of how to got to point O comes from having a plan to get to point b. That is life in a nutshell, you realize that goals are like the horizon you have to keep going and going, you get to the end, when it ends.

    Thanks for stopping by Karl,
