“Man is a thinking center and can originate thought. Everything a person creates with his or her hands must first exist as a thought form. You cannot create anything until you have thought it”.

• Pretty self explanatory, you think and then you do. We can all agree that everything you do starts with a thought. That is just for the simply things. Thought: “I am Thirsty.” Action: You drink water.

“However, we have confined our efforts wholly to the process of “doing”, seeking to change that which already exists. Consequently, we confine ourselves to “working hard.” Most of us have never thought of trying to cause the creation of new forms by impressing our thoughts upon Formless Substance.”

• This is a big one, when we decide to create or do something, the first thing we do is make a list of things we have to do. This coming from the “To-Do List” Queen herself. We only feel progress in the process of doing. We never stop to realize that the creation process starts with creating a clear mental picture. The process does not start by us doing something physically; it starts with us doing something mentally as proven by the statement below.

“When man has a thought-form, he takes material from the forms of nature, and makes an image of the form that is in his mind. He has, so far, made little or no effort to co-operate with Formless Intelligence. Man reshapes and modifies existing forms by manual labor. He has given no attention to the question whether he may produce things from Formless Substance by communicating his thoughts to it.”

• How do you communicate with Formless Substance? You set clearly defined goals and create clear mental pictures. This is a big, big part of the Science of Getting Rich, I could make you wait until we are working on that chapter but why wait, I am all about instant gratification.
