Read Food Nutrition Labels – Daily Vigilance with Tabs

My sister and I both agree that if you cook a whole bag of pasta by the end of the day you will have eaten a bag of pasta. Now this is fine if you have a party of eight people but one or two people, well, you have a problem because one serving size for pasta is 2/3 cups. Who eats 2/3 cups of pasta?

Really, you should be vigilant of everything you eat, I am a fan of the occasional doughnut but I love and eat pasta and pizza. This weekend I read the nutritional label on a box of frozen pizza and let’s say I had to think twice before reaching for the another slice and that was frozen pizza, I know my favorite pizza restaurant has bigger slices and much more stuff on it, and I barely ever eat frozen pizza.

I am in no way shape or form saying don’t eat pizza, but stop at two slices because depending on the slice size, salad (if you are good) soda and dessert, your dinner is a good 1,200 calorie meal. Correct me if I am wrong but except you are Michael Phelps, you have no business eating 1,200 calories in one meal.

Be vigilance about what you eat…

It is all about living eternal vigilance.
