Don’t Fight Poverty – End Poverty Now!

Fighting poverty is giving power the action “a fight” what does that mean, we kick poverty’s ass and then everyone comes out a winner? Well how is that working so far? Poverty has been kicking us around for years and years but we are still fighting right? Tell that to the mother trying to feed her children, knowing that if only she had the opportunity she would do great things. Tell that to the farmer who toils endlessly on his little patch of land to grow crops no one can afford to buy, at least he is fed what about the people dying of hunger right now?

What we need to do is change the verb, how about we END POVERTY NOW! That sounds like a much more positive and attainable goal than the constant fight that seems to have no end. If we keep fighting poverty we might just spend eternity in this fight. LOOK AROUND YOU PEOPLE, THOSE IN NEED CAN NOT AFFORD FOREVER.

So, don’t fight poverty, end poverty now and give some money to charities that help people become self sufficient and economically independent. People don’t need hand outs they need help to stand on their own two feet and take control of their lives. This is the only way we will help end poverty in the world.

As opposed to going to war against poverty, give a man or woman the tools to create wealth. Organizations exist to help feed the poor, cloth the poor and house the homeless, is this enough? Why don’t we do something more… you know teach a man to fish… Or woman.

If you chose to fight you may be fighting forever, so far the fight against poverty is not ending. It is definitely time we call it something else.

Let us “End Poverty Now.” Do something to add value to the life of the world today.

Go to Charity Navigator .Org and find an organization that suits your preferences, you can find many, many people with systems in place to help end poverty now. It is time to realize that we need to help. Give something or volunteer I am sure they can use all the help they can get.
