Note from the Author:
These series of blogs came about during a period when I knew I was changing, into what or whom I could not say when I started but this was one of the processes I went through when dealing with the change. Please enjoy and I hope it helps you find your way through this journey called life.
I found an 18 year old journal entry, yes, I was a child when I wrote it, but much to my dismay some of the entries seemed like something I could have written yesterday. I walked away too scared to admit the realization that I may still be the person I was when I made that journal entry. It took me four weeks of denial and trying to come up with some evidence to prove this realization wrong before I could look at those pages again.
Each week I seem to come up with a new theory on how face myself and face the true in the possibility that I had not changed in 18 years, or that I had changed and didn’t know into what. My journey was not to discover something earth shattering or new ways to split the atom, my journey was to find a way to soften to blow. I am sharing with you the results of my journey, in the hopes that if you are also on a quest to seek the truth about yourself or searching for proof that you have changed in some way, that this would help you on your journey.

My many years on this planet I have witnessed with the precision of a universal law the fact that if you do not make plans, general or specific your life stalls and you fall. Things just do not go your way, why? Because you had or have no plan. Do you know what direction you want your life to go in? Do you spend time thinking about those plans (visualizing)? Can you say with confidence what your plans are if asked? Then how on earth or should I say in the Universe can the Universe give you the life you want. If you don’t know what you want, the Universe doesn’t know what you want, ergo – YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU WANT. Continue Reading »

Believe it can be done. When you believe something can be done, really believe, your mind will find the ways to do it. Believing a solution paves the way to solution.

...Being kind to myself. If that were a friend talking to me with that nasty voice saying that I wasn’t good enough, I wasn’t skinny enough, I wasn’t beautiful enough, I wouldn’t be a friend to that person. Mariel Hemingway – speaking about negative self-talk.
What are you saying to yourself?
Take a couple of days (no more than two or else you will need quick tips for procrastination) to pay attention to what you are thinking about when it comes to your finances, your career or job, your friends, family, coworkers and strangers you meet. Write down exactly what you think of. Try not to focus on the obvious, yes, you love some of these people but what do you truly say about then in your head.
Are these the types of people, situations and surroundings you want in your life? If not then it is time to attract what you want in your life. Take the list you have just created and change your negative, self-defeating thoughts to positive, self-affirming and empowering thoughts. Continue Reading »

Earlier this year, I woke up one morning and the person I used to be was gone, Poof! It felt strange for a few hours because I didn’t know what was happening. All I knew was something had changed and it was big. I had been working on this change for years, wishing, waiting, wanting then one day it happened. I had thought it would be a gradual occurrence or perhaps it was because I woke up and everything that was important to the person I used to be no longer held true.
I was ecstatic, empowered and ready to face the world. The only thing was who was this person I was going to be living next few days, months or years of my life? I still had the home, cloths, hair of the person I used to be, where did I start? You see, when you wake up one morning a new person, you are still living the life of person you used to be, but with a little planning the transition will not be as jarring, scary or hard as it could be.
